About the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center

The University of Colorado is a higher education system that maintains four campuses.  The campuses are in Boulder, Colorado Springs, and two in Denver (UCD and UCHSC).  The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, one of the four, is the only comprehensive academic health center in the state of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region.  Thus, in addition to serving Colorado, UCHSC faculty provide extensive amounts of consultation and service to the states of Wyoming, Montana and the western portions of the Dakotas, Nebraska and Kansas.  The basic academic goal is to provide high quality educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels which prepare students for careers as health professionals, scientists and educators.
